Planning, installation and everyday operation, explained.
A multi-zone system can give each area independent volume. If areas also need different music, specify the number of simultaneous sources so routing and amplification can be designed accordingly.
Phased work may be possible depending on cable routes and access. Share occupancy constraints, quiet periods and refurbishment plans so the team can assess a practical installation programme.
Compatible wall controls or app interfaces can provide local operation. The available functions depend on the selected system, network and permissions. Decide which settings staff should be able to change.
It may share selected sources or infrastructure, but events, microphones and higher sound levels can require a different specification. Describe both everyday use and function requirements before equipment is selected.
Send floor plans, room uses, the number of audio zones, existing equipment details and any restrictions on access or visible cabling. Include whether each area needs separate music, volume or announcement control.
